About us

SustainaBuild was founded on the principle that any building and or renovation project should at the very least consider the sustainability of the project, and its affects on human health and the environment. We draw on our contracting, design, and development background, and our appreciation for our natural surroundings in the Pacific Northwest to create attractive, long-lasting dwellings. We also believe that there doesn’t have to be a cost premium on building green and that sustainable design can be affordable.

What Separates Us

We don't stop at just making the building green, we believe in making the process green as well.
We as a company:

• Recycle at least 80% of all construction waste
• Control the levels of moisture in the products and the building environment during construction
• Make sure that all processes do not contribute to harmful off gassing
• Preserve the site, leaving everything as natural as possible

Part of our job is to help you navigate the world of green building decision-making – paybacks, CO2 emissions, ROI, product benefits and weaknesses, tradeoffs, and synergies. SustainaBuild is also certified to help you navigate the built green programs Energy Star, Built Green, and LEED.

In design and construction, we treat the house as a system and know that any decision affecting one component of the house affects all other components of the house.
